A PRACTICAL GUIDE FOR UK HOUSEHOLDS

CHOOSING A PREMIUM
HOME EMERGENCY KIT.

Start with the people at home and the disruption you want to prepare for. A useful equipment system brings lighting, power, warmth and practical essentials together, with clear limits and a plan for using them.

Plan for your household first

Power cuts and storms can interrupt lighting, heating, phone charging and everyday routines. Write down who needs help, where the equipment will live and how you will contact each other. Include children, pets and anyone with additional needs.

The UK Government’s Be Ready checklist encourages preparation for three days, starting with what you already have and building gradually. Our Luxury kits are equipment selections. They do not supply a complete three-day reserve of everything your household needs.

Choose Family or Solo, then quantity

Family equips two adults and two school-age children. Solo equips one adult, retaining substantial shared equipment such as backup power, filtration, cooking and first aid. Check sleeping-bag sizes and the children’s equipment against your household before choosing.

Complete equipment kit prices, with delivery quoted separately
Complete kitOne kitTwo identical kits
Luxury FamilyTwo adults + two school-age children per kit£9,995£19,490
Luxury SoloOne adult per kit£7,495£14,490

Each pair saves £500 against two singles. Two kits are separately packed, complete systems with every included quantity doubled. Delivery and any fitting service are quoted separately; the final written total is confirmed before an order.

Look at the system behind the brands

Compare exact models, quantities, charging connections, storage and manufacturer instructions. Recognisable components from brands including EcoFlow, YETI, Fenix and Petzl help make that comparison specific. Organisation matters too: equipment should be easy to find, with charging leads and printed information kept where they are needed.

Read the full Family contents and full Solo contents. Both specifications include adult bladed tools: Gerber StrongArm, Leatherman Wave+ and Victorinox Huntsman. Kits are 18+ only, with required age and handover checks.

Understand power and solar limits

Each kit includes an EcoFlow DELTA 2 and one EcoFlow 110W folding solar panel with its stand and built-in charging lead. Plan around the station’s 1,024 Wh capacity and 1,800 W continuous AC rating. Check appliance demand and combined loads; it is not a whole-home heating system. Runtime depends on what you connect.

Solar output varies with sunlight, weather, season, shading and positioning. A 110W rating does not promise continuous output or a full recharge each day. Keep the station protected and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. The Starlink Mini accessory pack supplies a case, mount and car adapter; the Mini terminal and active service are purchased separately.

Add the essentials only you can choose

Supply your own food, drinking water, medicines, personal clothing and household-specific items. Bottles and carriers arrive empty. Water filtration does not replace a suitable drinking-water reserve. Think through dietary needs, pet supplies and important contacts, and review your arrangements as needs change.

Gas cooking equipment is for outdoor use only. Adult respiratory equipment requires individual fit and intended-use checks; it does not supply oxygen and is not for fire escape. Read the complete limitations alongside the contents.

Request a clear written quotation

Choose your kit and quantity, then send a non-binding enquiry. We confirm the specification, availability, required checks, delivery and written total before accepting an order. Payment follows written acceptance and a private invoice for bank transfer. An enquiry reserves no stock and creates no payment obligation.

Read our terms, delivery and returns information before deciding. Supplier availability, compatibility, packing and transport arrangements require confirmation; no dispatch date is promised at the enquiry stage.
